Main Responsibility
As an Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) and a valuable member of the dispensary team you will:
- Assist the Responsible Pharmacist (RP) in managing the day to day running of the dispensary and support the allocation of work to ensure the safe and efficient running of the dispensary
- Assist the RP in completing the final accuracy check on prescriptions
- Manage stock levels to ensure that our prescriptions are fulfilled first time, every time for our patients and the pharmacy operates at the optimum stock level
- Assist the RP and Clinical Team to identify continuous improvement opportunities and ensure that the pharmacy operates safely and in line with the GPhC standards
- Have an understanding of all operational processes within the pharmacy and ensure they are safe and risks are mitigated where possible
- Work with our dedicated in-house customer support team to ensure our patients receive the highest level of care and support

- GPhC Registered Accuracy Checking Technician
- NVQ / Q
