Overview of the role
As an Inventory Controller (principle role Recycling Centre) you will be responsible for executing daily, weekly and monthly core tasks to ensure stock availability and that stock accuracy is maintained.
Other tasks will include checking off totes received into the Recycling Centre, exception handling, order picking and packing and processing sales.
You will also be cross trained within other Inventory departmental roles.
Working Hours
Hours are currently set as Monday-Friday 9:30-18:00
These may change as the department grows.

Please note that due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check before employment can commence. This includes both spent and unspent convictions, as well as information held by local police deemed as relevant to the role. Employment is conditional on satisfactory DBS clearance.

Main Responsibility
Main Responsibilities;
- Complete all set daily critical tasks
- Receipt of IBT totes
- Checking stock in against the IBT system
- Monitor and recording of exceptions
- Listing products on the internal sales program (spider)
- Picking and packing orders
- Processing sales on the IBT system
- Stock counts
- Expiry reviews
- Facilitate the correct order of stock FEFO (First Expiry First Out)
- Facilitate the correct order of unprocessed stocks FIFO (First In First Out)
- Cross trained in other departments within the Inventory world.
Knowledge and skills required;
- Must have good organisational skills
- Must demonstrate high attention to detail
- Ability to work alone and with team members from other departments
- Inventory & Microsoft office experience will be preferred
- Need to be able to work in fast paced environment.
