Overview of the role
We are looking for a Pharmacist to make a real difference at our pharmacy based in Sheffield - Birley Lane.
The Pharmacy:
This is a well structured branch with a lot of potential. It is attached to the medical centre with whom we have a very good relationship. Regular patients, MDS patients, substance mis use and walk in's due to been next to the medical centre. The pharmacy is attached to a health centre.
What is the local area like? - A pleasant area with a mixture of all ages.
Services Provided and Items - Flu. Hypertension, New medicine service, substance misuse and all other core NHS services and 11,000 items.
Number of community blisters - 50
Number of substance misuse patients - 10
Relationship with surgery - Very good
Facilities such as staff room, car park, access to public transport - Staff room, office, car park and access to local transport
Trading hours - 8:30 am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday
The Team:
5 colleagues - 4 trained and 1 trainee
Trainee has only just started so completion date is approx a year
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits
We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.
We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
