Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Congleton, Cheshire.

This community pharmacy is commutable from Macclesfield, Crewe and Leek with on-site parking. The pharmacy is located close to the health centre in a quaint market town with charming rural beauty. It has a good relationship with the local GP surgery.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

  • It dispenses 10,000 items a month/week.
  • It provides a wide range of services including Pharmacy First, Contraception, NMS, BP/ABPM, Carehomes, Methadone.
  • It provides services to 10 - 20 substance misuse patients.
  • It dispenses 80 community blisters.

This pharmacy is open 8:45am - 6:30pm, Monday to Friday. The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of a Team Leader (ACT) and 2 Dispensers.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits

We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.

We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
