Overview of the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Controller to join Bestway Healthcare, supporting the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical products in line with regulatory standards.
Main Responsibility
- Assist in trouble shooting and problem-solving when process issues arise, ensuring a timely resolution
- Quality control checks on imported product to reduce the risk of falsified medicines
- Quality control checks on printed packaging components prior to production
- In-process quality control checks
- Temperature monitoring
- Investigation of process deviations
- Quarantining of stock as required
- Training of staff
- Liaise with QP to resolve any queries that may affect product quality
- Quality checks on packaging materials received from Suppliers
- Compile and review standard operating procedures
- Final QC checks and reconciliation of materials and product ensuring products are of a high quality standard and comply with the product licence and cGMP
- Involved in maintaining cGMP with the PI production environment
- Report on issues, malfunction or defective equipment
- Work closely with other areas of the business to achieve company goals eg. Regulatory Affairs, QA, PI Production
