Digital Trainee or Qualified Pharmacy Assistant

Overview of the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant in our distant selling pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our online pharmacy platform. You will assist pharmacists and customers in processing orders, handling inquiries, and providing excellent customer service.

This is a non-customer facing role within the pharmacy, perfect for candidates who prefer to work behind the scenes and focus on specialised tasks or areas of expertise.

In order to be considered for the Digital Trainee Pharmacy Assistant Role you must have the willingness to enrol on an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification.


In order to be considered for the Qualified Pharmacy Assistant role it is essential that you already have a NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent qualification.

 

 Working hours

  •  Week 1 7am-3pm
  •  Week 2 11am-7pm

Main Responsibility

  • Processing online orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborating with pharmacists to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Managing inventory and ensuring accurate stock levels.
  • Assisting in the packaging and shipping of orders.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and security of customer information.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software and online platforms is an advantage.
