Overview of the role

To support the delivery of the FM and Investment services at a regional level across Well Pharmacy & Bestway Retail estate to ensure all trading units can operate and trade in a safe and legal environment. To ensure that all works are delivered to budget plus delivered to the expected timescales and operate within the business polices and standards. Ensure details of all incidents are collated and passed to line manager for investigation.

Main Responsibility

  • Responsible for managing all queries and issues raised by the internal help desk team through to completion or escalation to line manager.
  • Responsible for raising purchase orders in line with internal policy and procedures.
  • Responsible for requesting quotes and checking details before submitting request to line manager for approval.
  • Responsible for checking and collating monthly batches / invoices ready for line manager to check and approve.
  • First point of contact for escalations and issues impacting on the branch not trading.
  • Responsible for providing support to the Facilities Managers in attending contractors review and performance meetings.
  • Support the Facilities Managers and retail support team in resolving landlord issues in collaboration with the property team.
  • Supporting the Facilities Manager with H&S , FRA and Equality issues
  • Responsible for collating and analysis reactive call data to help manage service and cost.
  • Responsible for dealing with adhoc invoice and termination letters to protect the branch / business.
  • Responsible for covering line manager holidays.

Key knowledge and skills required for the role:

  • Experience of working in a Facilities environment.
  • Organisational and Communication Skills.
  • Managing health & Safety Certification
  • Asbestos Awareness Certification
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Financial and budget awareness.
  • IT skills

Problem Solving & Change:

  • Ability to understand and analyse complex information and present it simply and accurately.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Flexible approach to work
