Overview of the role
Due to continued growth, we're hiring a Finance Analyst at Bestway Healthcare on an initial 6 month Fixed Term Contract.
The Finance Analyst supports the Wholesale Finance function by providing high-quality financial reporting, analysis and insight across Commercial, Operational and Stock Finance. The role is responsible for developing reporting, producing performance analysis, maintaining key financial models and supporting month-end, budgeting and forecasting processes to enable effective decision making across the Wholesale business.
Main Responsibility
- Produce and maintain regular financial and operational reporting across Commercial, Operational and Stock Finance.
- Support the month-end reporting process through preparation of reports, variance analysis and performance commentary.
- Develop and maintain Power BI reporting and dashboards to improve management information and business insight.
- Analyse customer profitability, supplier profitability, product performance and margin trends.
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts and long-range planning models.
- Provide analysis of warehouse productivity, labour efficiency, transport performance and operational cost drivers.
- Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across our finance team and wholesale businesses
- Support production of board reporting and performance packs.
- Produce KPI reporting and identify trends, risks and opportunities for management review.
- Improve data quality, reporting automation and reporting efficiency across the Wholesale Finance function.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and financial support to support business initiatives and decision making.
The Ideal Candidate
- Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or relevant finance degree.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups and financial modelling.
- Experience of Power BI reporting and dashboard development.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly.
