Overview of the role
Bestway Healthcare are proud to be one of the UK's largest pharmaceutical wholesalers in the UK, supporting independent pharmacies across the country.
As a Key Accounts Assistant, you will be a key member of the Key Accounts team and will have the responsibility of taking orders from pharmacies, providing excellent customer service and developing account relationships. The role involves a mixture of inbound and outbound calls. The role will represent all Bestway healthcare brands: Lexon, Medhub, Wardles, and Lexon specials.
This role will be working 5 days on site in Redditch, with the working pattern being Monday - Friday, 9 am-5:30 pm.
Main Responsibility
- Taking inbound calls, placing orders for Pharmacies.
- Upselling and promoting offers and new lines to Pharmacies.
- Building relationships with owners/managers of groups.
- Providing field sales reps with information when requested.
- Monitor transactions and investigate irregular purchases.
- Help and investigate distribution complaints.
- Assist with product recalls
The Ideal Candidate
We are interested in speaking to candidates who can demonstrate:
- Experience in a telephone based customer service/sales role
- Strong communication skills and telephone manner
- Excellent admin skills and attention to detail
The successful candidate will also have the ability to:
- Ability to adapt to a fast-changing pharmacy wholesale environment.
- Adapt their approach to the specific needs of the Key account customers.
- Work effectively within a large sales team.
- Embrace new processes as the business evolves.
- Contribute to success alongside achieving individual and collective goals.
- Be able to support team performance as well as hitting overall team objectives.
