Trainee or Qualified Pharmacy Assistant

Overview of the role

We are looking for a friendly and organised Pharmacy Assistant's to join us in our Digital Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Fulfilment Associate! You will be able to balance your focus between our customers and the dispensary to ensure we deliver exceptional customer care to our online digital customers & our stores.

Working alongside our Pharmacists and Technicians, you will be responsible for the efficient delivery of online dispensary processes to ensure our customer and stores are taken care of. The tasks include processing Digital prescriptions & Central Fulfilment prescriptions for branches. This role maintains a high level of competence to ensure the safe dispensing of medication to customers as well as being the experts that our customers can rely on when communicating online.

Main Responsibility

What you'll do:

  • To comply fully with SOPs and service level agreements to ensure patient safety at all times
  • To provide excellent levels of customer service to internal and external customers to ensure customer needs and requirements are met / exceeded and complaints are dealt with in quick and effective manner
  • To have an awareness of branch targets and proactively seek opportunities to increase revenue by actively promoting appropriate products and services in the branch to meet customer needs, maintain and grow profitability of the branch
  • To identify opportunities for MURs with customers to assist in meeting branch MUR targets passing potential scripts to Branch Manager for further action
  • To support other services as required by the pharmacy contract and identify opportunities for the Branch Manager to deliver these.
  • Maintain optimum stock levels in the branch and ensure products are displayed in line with planograms to ensure stock rotation and limited stock holdings in branch
  • Take ownership for personal development and training to ensure requirements of role are fulfilled and product knowledge

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience of working in pharmacy business
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Able to work as part of a team and provide support to others
  • Willing to learn and develop personally to improve understanding of Pharmacy business

Package Description

Rotating shifts between 7am to 11pm. For example: You will do Week 1 (7am to 3pm) | Week 2 (3pm to 11pm) |  You will also be required to work 1 in 4 Saturdays.
