 Responsible for ensuring the accurate management of stock for Lexon across 3 warehouses, including raising purchase orders, analysis of sales and product forecasting to maintain strong availability across the OTC range. Working closely with suppliers and OTC team. 

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible managing stock levels across circa 80 suppliers. Raising and tracking purchase orders using the ERP system (Navision).
  • Monitor and analyse stock levels daily to ensure sufficient quantities are available to meet demand and stay within the stock budget.
  • Liaise with suppliers to clarify order details, resolve discrepancies, and address any issues related to purchase orders.
  • Establish quality relationships with suppliers, driving improvement in service levels and resolving any discrepancies. Evaluate supplier’s performance based on key metrics such as quality, delivery reliability, and lead time. 
  • Analyse, communicate and escalate product availability issues accordingly to resolve quickly and to minimise sales loss.
  • Interact effectively with the warehousing teams to prioritise loads at Goods In, resolve supplier discrepancies and assist with general stock queries.
  • Forecasting to ensure future stock availability. 

Problem Solving & Change:

  • Autonomous management of additional top-up orders, chasing of orders and subsequent prioritisation
  • Influencing key stakeholders to drive availability improvements
  • Make recommendations to improve current processes within Supply Chain

Key knowledge and skills required:

  • Highly analytical with the ability to interpret data and to take action.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and to prioritise in an ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent IT and Excel skills.
