Main Responsibility
- Pick correct stock in the correct quantity paying special attention to:
- Placing stock in container to minimise damage, packing and checking
- Documenting customer invoice legibly and correctly
- Ensuring customer invoice is presentable to customer.
- Neatness of shelves and aisles
- Ensuring stock and invoice for whole order is presented for checking together.
- Report to Line Manager if stock is incorrect, missing, out of date, damaged or dirty.
- Assists Line Manager in placing the correct product in the correct location to maximise efficiencies for picking.
- Ensure shelves are maintained in a neat and clean state.
- Ensure picking shelves are never empty unless there is no stock on the overstock bins.
- Report to Line Manager on problems hindering efficient and accurate assembly.
- Ensure stock is located on the correct shelf and that shortest dated stock is placed at the front of the pick bin (first expired first out).
- When required pack customer orders and place onto the correct cage ready for delivery.
- Put away newly delivered stock as and when requested by the Line Manager, ensuring that the first expired first out rule is adhered to.
- Participate in any reasonable task requested the supervisors.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean working environment at all times
- Assist in maintaining all Health and Safety aspects at all times.
