Warehouse Operative - Recycling Centre

Overview of the role

The recycling centre Warehouse Ooperative is responsible for ensuring that day to day activities in the recycling centre are carried out. The recycling centre is a facility in our Durham Warehouse which accepts non-moving stock back from our pharmacy chain and sends it out to pharmacies that need it in response to orders.

Main Responsibility

You will be responsible for running a medicines recycling centre that identifies obsolete medicines in pharmacy and makes them available to other pharmacies to prevent them from expiring and being wasted. Your overall aims and objectives will be to ensure that day to day activities are completed, stock is regularly date checked and counted, and all associated admin tasks are completed to a schedule.

Ensure timely production of reports and data to deadlines, respond to the changing needs of the business.


Key knowledge and skills required:

    Familiarity with inventory management processes and stock control practices is desirable.

    Experience within the pharmaceutical, FMCG, or wholesale industries is highly desirable.

    Flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities and challenges.

    Good Interpersonal Skills

    Team collaboration to work effectively with category managers, logistics teams, and other departments.
