Overview of the role
About the Role
We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our People Team and help us attract great people to our business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys recruitment, building relationships, and creating a positive experience for candidates. You'll support the full recruitment process, working closely with hiring managers and the wider People Team to make sure vacancies are filled efficiently and that every candidate receives a professional and welcoming experience.
No two days are the same. You'll be sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, managing onboarding, and making sure all recruitment activities are compliant and well organised.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage the candidate journey from application through to onboarding, ensuring every candidate has a positive experience.
- Source candidates using a range of methods, including job boards, LinkedIn, and direct approaches.
- Screen applications, shortlist candidates, and arrange interviews.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers, keeping them informed throughout the recruitment process.
- Support hiring managers during interviews and selection activities.
- Prepare offers and coordinate pre-employment checks.
- Complete Right to Work checks, process DBS applications, and manage Certificates of Sponsorship where required.
- Ensure recruitment records are accurate and maintained within our recruitment systems.
- Advertise vacancies across job boards and internal platforms.
- Manage recruitment inboxes and respond to candidate and hiring manager queries in a timely manner.
- Monitor recruitment activity against agreed service levels and look for opportunities to improve the way we work.
- Support employer branding initiatives and help promote our organisation as a great place to work.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and enjoys working with people. You'll be comfortable managing multiple vacancies while maintaining excellent attention to detail and delivering a high level of customer service.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR, or resourcing.
- An understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Experience screening candidates and coordinating interviews.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence using recruitment or HR systems.
- Knowledge of recruitment compliance, including Right to Work checks. Experience of DBS checks and sponsorship processes would be an advantage, but it isn't essential.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and continuously improve.
Why Join Us?
You'll be joining a supportive People Team where collaboration, development, and great candidate experiences are at the heart of what we do. We'll give you the opportunity to build your recruitment knowledge, develop your career, and make a real difference by helping us attract talented people to our organisation.
If you're looking for a role where you can develop your skills, work with a great team, and have a genuine impact, we'd love to hear from you.
